BIO
Nicole Garcia is a second generation U.S. citizen, actress and content-creator. In multiple mediums such as spoken word, stand up, and even painting, her work greatly exhibits her border town style. Originally from the "...West Texas Town..." of El Paso, she performed as a Mariachi band vocalist, and DJ in her hometown. She relocated to Los Angeles, CA shortly after high school to start her college career at AMDA. She played a major role in the Artists’ Lab in a longtime collaboration with composer and visual artist Michael Deragon. During which, she directed, instructed, and featured in student projects and helmed creative workshops. She received her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Acting in February 2019. Recent participations include the 13th Annual Young Artist Project by Phantom Project Theatre Group as head-writer and actress. The original production was staged at La Mirada Theatre as aforementioned in BroadwayWorld, Discover La Mirada and headlined the La Mirada Lamplighter newspaper. Her mission includes building the first performing arts school in her hometown and a visionary production house dedicated in casting and hiring locals from the El Paso/Ciudad Juárez region.
